With a client led approach Kelly tailors her support to meet individuals needs. She uses various evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Narrative therapy, Trauma based therapy, Gestalt, Radix, Somatic and Psychodrama therapy.

Kelly Roberts is a compassionate and understanding counsellor with over twenty years of experiences in the non profit sector, supporting people in the general community. Kelly has a dynamic approach to therapy, listening deeply and working creatively and intuitively with her clients.

Kelly is particuarly passionate about ones individual journey of self awareness and discovery. She is client led and her philosophy and methods are rooted in humanistic psychological approaches to suffering and living. These techniques have also helped Kelly in her own life to creatively and reliably relieve trauma. Kelly builds strong therapeutic relationships with individuals by offering a safe judgement free space to build trust, engage authentically and explore deeply.

Kelly is experienced in stress and trauma management, anxiety, depression, PTSD and phobias. She has worked with people across all age groups and backgrounds and can help with family and intimate partner abuse, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, separation, grief and loss, retirement and sleep issues.

In addition to her therapeutic skills, Kelly has unique strengths and considerable expertise in the area of intimate partner violence and domestic crime, with 20 years of specialist experience in the field. She ensures the individuals she works with receive the best support environment on their journey of self-awareness and recovery.
